The Exchange TRX, the lifestyle district of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur, is set to launch in 4Q2023. According to developer Landlease, The Exchange TRX will have greater than 400 stores around four retail levels, with 1.3 million sq ft of overall net lettable area.

Mitch Wilson, work supervisor for The Exchange TRX and chief of retail for Lendlease Malaysia, states that the lifestyle district is envisioned as a “city-defining assignment” within TRX. “As a global business, we will showcase our worldwide placemaking expertise together with our 43-year record in Malaysia to offer our signatory strategy to experiential market.”

The Exchange TRX will have a 10-acre roof public-activated recreation area. Called TRX City Park, it is developed by Lendlease in collaboration with landscape designers Oculus & Pentago. It definitely will feature young children’s play areas, water functions, and shaded enclaves. It will equally act as a location to hold shows and occasions.
